Quick Fix: MacBook Fan and Battery Drainage...
Here is another quick tip that I simply could not find via Google? If your MacBook or MacBook Pro (Unibody) fan is turning on more that it should and running abnormally fast, or you are experiencing rapid battery drainage, then you may need to reset a chip on your MacBook.
According to Apple Support, this chip somehow controls and/or regulates the logic board that manages the fan and battery...
