Project Management and Collaboration
I use BaseCamp and BackPack quite a bit for knowledge sharing and project management, and find them to be useful to say the least. Every so often I end up on a project or find a link to something new to check out and it gets me thinking and tinkering. What I found most interesting is Google’s relatively new Sites, which is really the wiki platform JotSpot reincarnated. I really like where Google is going and find myself integrating more of it my life.
I like having them all at my finger tips and many people in my life are already in the Google world. Anyway, it took some digging on making me comfortable using Sites. Here are some key threads for reference:
PS - The one big hang-up is that Sites does not have backup capability, which they seem to have on the radar screen. Hey, it’s free, at my finger tips, and there is a workaround!
