George Steinbrenner Letter (Thanks!)

During my venture money raising days, I sent a business plan to a few people, including George Steinbrenner.  I had 100% no connections to/with the guy, so why bother?

Why not - the guy was from Cleveland.  

That was my job as entrepreneur; I sent it (the BP) to everyone and was especially persistent with Mr. Steinbrenner.  After all, he was part of Cleveland’s (OH) 100 years of bumbling and thought he might understand.

Did I really think I would get his attention?  At that time, absolutely!  Well, no luck getting in front of Mr. Steinbrenner, but here is a letter he took time to send.  

While I really appreciate the fact that he took time to respond, I especially appreciate the wisdom he shared.

His purpose and productivity are inspiring.
